Price has gone on to record a mix of contemporary gospel and R B with longer gaps between LPs. She set up her own label under to release the primarily self-produced 2006 album This Is Who I Am. New Orleans rapper Juvenile is a Southern hip-hop veteran, and a chart-topping one as well, having climbed the U.S. Hot 100 with his 2004 single "Slow Motion. Juvenile joined fellow rappers, and in who also released their debut album, Get It How U Live!, in 1997. Both debuts were produced in total by, who was back for Juvenile's 1998 solo release 400 Degreez, his platinum-selling, breakthrough effort thanks in part to the successful singles "Ha" and "Back That Azz Up." Two more platinum awards came Juvenile's way in1999 with the successful solo album Tha G-Code and ' sophomore release, Guerrilla Warfare. jumped on the bandwagon that year as well with a remixed version of Being Myself.

JT Money

The former leader of the hip-hop group, JT Money has always been about creating music you can dance to. JT Money was discovered in a Miami talent show by founder Luther Campbell. He then went on to record three albums with on Campbell's label Sky walker Records, but the group eventually disbanded after a dispute with . JT Money took some of the lessons he learned from his years with and used them on his first solo album, Pimpin' On Wax. The album featured the type of dance floor-friendly hip-hop that helped popularize. JT Money's 2001 album, Blood Sweat & Years, brings listeners more of the same, proving that he is a performer that can produce club-friendly hip-hop on a consistent basis. Return of the B-Izer offered more of the same the following year.

Formed in Atlanta, Georgia, USA, by the female trio of Tabitha Duncan, Athena Cage and LaVonn Battle, Kut Klose specialize in a sassy brand of urban R & B pop, primarily mounted on their smooth harmonies. Their debut album, Surrender, was the second to be released on Keith Sweat's Keia Records label (the first being Silk's platinum-selling debut), and merged pop sensibilities with hip-hop beats and simplistic but effective lyrics - as Battle puts it: 'A little hip-hop, a little rhythm and blues, a little soulful and a little youthful.' Comprising ballads such as 'I Like' and 'Giving You My Love' alongside the New Jill Swing of 'Don't Change', the opening single was 'Get Up On It', a duet with Sweat himself. The album was written and produced by Sweat, Eric McCaine (of Entouch)and the group themselves, and recorded at the Sweat Shop, the state-of-the-art studio built by Sweat in his Atlanta home.

By the time of the release of Jagged Edge's third album, Jagged Little Thrill, in 2001, its leadoff single, "Where the Party At" (featuring ), was nearing the R & B Top Ten and was in the pop Top 40. Hard and Jagged Edge followed, respectively, in 2003 and 2006. For 2007'sThe Baby Makin' Project, the group switched to, but had since taken up the post of president at the label's urban division, making the transition from a welcome and natural one. The album debuted at number eight on the Billboard 200. Jagged Edge then moved to, where they released The Remedy in 2011. Three years later, they reunited with and for J.E. Heartbreak II. A Greatest Hits collection arrived in 2016before the group returned to the studio to record their ninth full-length,2017's Layover. Released that summer, Layover featured their typically rich vocal harmonies with contemporary production that included some trap inspiration.
